I am currently exhibiting at St Andrew’s Church in Wickford.

What: Second run of ‘Trials and Tribulations: Modern Impressions of Iconography’ with the addition of one new piece (Archangel Mikhael)

Where: St Andrew’s Church, 11 London Road, Wickford, SS12 0AN

When: 13th September – 20th December 2024

Summary: This collection is inspired by Eastern European iconography. Visitors will experience traditional imagery of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary and Christian saints in a new light, bringing an inner world of looser subjective emotion and feelings to the canvas. I hope viewers will (re)connect with spiritual aspect and values symbolised by pivotal Biblical events.

Open events: I held an open evening on 13th September with a Q&A session hosted by the Revd Jonathan Evens. I am also conducting a series of workshops for local school children.

Opening times: St Andrew’s is usually open: Saturdays from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm; Sundays from 9.30 am to 12.00 noon; Mondays from 2.00 to 3.45 pm; Tuesdays from 1.00 to 4.30 pm; Wednesdays from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon; and Fridays from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.
